Anyone who knows me well knows that I have a tendency to spill my wine…and it’s always RED. I’ve ruined countless tops and dresses, so much so that I have been given sippy cups on numerous occasions. On New Year’s Eve not only did I forget my sippy cup, but the spill wasn’t my fault! It’s as if it happened in slow motion. . . The New Year’s Eve party was rockin’, and the dancing arms were swinging. And that red wine in my hand became a permanent accessory…devastating to say the least.

That is until I discovered Metro Dyeing in NYC! They do sample dyeing in the garment district and accept single garments. For a small fraction of the cost of the dress I was able to revive my sequined number! Now I feel as though I have a whole new dress. Due to the extreme stain my only option was to dye black- but you really can’t go wrong with an LBD. What is even more remarkable is that all the sequins stayed on since they do each garment carefully by hand. I’m one happy camper.
